I didn't have a witty title for this entry, so yeah :P. Anyways, it's been a few days since I wrote last. However things are progressing well. Apparently I've allready lost some weight according to one of the people I work with, so that makes me happy.
I just spent like 9 hours at work, maybe longer. lesse, I started at 6 and got off at 3 :P. Fun stuff. anyways, I don't have much else to report today. pretty much why I haven't written the last few days. More when something actually happens.

The 27th! or the day I went to 50% raw...
Okay so first off, yesterday I was at work until 3 am. So that sucked big time. so I slept until like forever.
Today my sister and I went wandering around Salt Lake. We went to get stuff for a raw Gazpacheo I'm gonna make prolly tomorrow. We went to whole foods though and they had Pizza cooking in there! I was about ready to kill someone for a slice of hot pizza.
I managed to make it through the store with my homicidal instincts in check. I bought a chocolate raw food thingy and a raw tea thingy... so I tried the bar and about puked and then I tried the tea and it tasted all nasty and vinegary. After 2 strikes I was just ready to eat something good!
So we went to the China Platter. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. I like orgasmed while I was eating. So after reviewing... I'm going to do a diet that is vegitarian and about 50% raw. Mostly for my sanity, perhaps further along the way I'll get to the point where I don't want to shoot someone for a hot meal.
Anyhow, tomorrow I am figuring out my whole workout routine so that I can start it monday morning, also I'm going to begin my job search and start looking for a more affordable car so I can sell my current one and get one that's actually in my budget.
Hmm I need to post some pictures on here to help gauge my progress in the future. I think I might do that tomorrow as well. but don't hold your breath, I don't want anyone suffocating!

Christmas
I didn't write yesterday cause I fell asleep watching Animaniacs. All things considered, Christmas was pretty uneventful. I got a new board game for Christmas called Cursed, the first season of Animaniacs and a new bath towel.
Then I spent alot of time trying to think of something interesting to make that is on this raw diety thing. I've been wanting to make a soup, but most of the stuff we were missing at least one or two ingredients and it was christmas so most things were closed.
In the end I had some exciting dark greens (Kale & Chard) and some celery and raw cheese. Then I had to go to work. Work was super thrilling as per usual. people wanted to watch "Traitor" with that annoying Don Cheadle guy in it. I thought he was annoying enough in Ocean's 11, but whatever floats people's boats I spose.
Then I came home and watched animaniacs and fell asleep at like 10-11 somewhere in there.
Sad thing is I woke up at noon. I must have been really tired! I need to find stuff to do though or else I'm just gonna end up sleeping and watching TV which really doesn't accomplish anything :P.
Anyways, I'll write more tonight, til' then

Fishmas Eve!
Welcome back kiddies! I hope you had a fantabulous X-mas Eve! I know I did. After I wrote my last entry I tried to sleep for like 3 hours. It so didn't work, I'm still on "I just need to smelt one Titansteel bar before I go to sleep so I need 10 crystallized fires first and that won't take TOO long to do" time. Aka I don't sleep until my body gives up :P.
So 3 o'clock hit and I was laying in bed with nothing to do since sleep would not join me, he's kind of a bitch sometimes, so I threw off the covers and started decorating! I decorated from 3 am until aproximatly 8 am. In the end the room looked fabulous, I did have to make a trip to Walmart though, I needed some fake snow with sparkles in it!
There was a cute guy at Walmart too, he was talking to me for a bit, but I had to get my snow and he had to sweep the floor or something. I think that was the end of our relationship, oh well.
Anyhoo, After I threw-up christmas into the room I had to go to that stupid work meeting. Apparently this meeting was all because of one employee that our non-manager can't stand. Oh and of course we're supposed to be super cheesy and sell people Blu-ray players because corporate said so. But whatever.
When I got back at about 10 I was finally tired enough to sleep. I was like "yay! people shouldn't show up until 4 or so, so I should be nice and awake for the family party!" Of course right when I was finally dosing off I was awoken by a five year old kicking on my door and telling me it was time to go play.
Dana is very cute but she's comparable to the energizer bunny... on crack! She has SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much energy. So I dragged myself out of bed and she dragged me around the house a few times. it was fun :P.
To try to wrap this novella up a bit sooner the rest will be highlights.
I gave Becky & Fam my Wii. I gave Heidi and Fam some Wii games and I gave the Salad Bahrs more sims 2 games than you can shake a... something really big at.
We did our annual "Jesus & Friends" Nativity thingy which gets shorter every year as my parents get older. This year Mary was Mary's mother, Now THAT'S what I call an immaculate conception! We sang off key christmas carols and exchanged gifts. it was nifty.
Anyways, the Melatonin I took to go to sleep tonight is starting to catch up with me so I really hope the last few paragraphs made sense. So before I pass out, Have fun out there y'all :D

Day the first part 2
So I guess really when I wrote the last thingy it was on the close of my version of dec. 22nd, but whatever. Time gets confusing when you have bad sleeping habits.
I cooked breakfast for mom and dad, they were very shocked. It was funny ^^. Then I finally went to sleep. After getting up again I went to my fantabulous job at the most amazing Blockbuster ever.
Wow, I swear something interesting happened there that I was planning on writing about, but it must have just been too amazing for my poor memory to contain. Hmmm. Oh well.
After work I went shopping for decorations :D. I went to smiths and it was all 50% off!!!! I tried not to go too overboard and had to keep reminding myself that I wasn't decorating for a dinner party, lol. I wanted all the pretty table clothes and place setting and tea lights and wall sconces... When I move out, Oh there WILL be fabulous dinner parties!! Maybe by then I'll have figured out how to make one or two decent raw recipes too.
Speaking of my adventures into the world of raw foods. Sheri made a pizza from like buckwheat or something. It had raw cheese and mushrooms and some sort of sauce on it. I took a bite and was like "Wow! This is amazing!" And then the aftertaste kicked in and I about gagged. All I had to was it down was some keifer I'd bought to help my stomach. I really don't advise mixing the two of them together. It was about the nastiest thing I'd ever had.
On the up side we're going to make a key-lime pie that's from the ultra dreamy "Raw Model"s web page. I think his name is Anthony, but I have too hard a time drawing my eyes away from him to truly read the blog. Hurray for hormones!
Anyways, now I have to go to sleep. I was going to go to sleep but decided I'd better write this so that I didn't end up neglecting it in the future. I have to sleep now though cause I have a mandatory work meeting tomorrow... yes a work meeting of Christmas Eve!!! I think maybe Stacey (temporary boss Stacey, not Madame Stacica Stacey... whom I haven't seen in awhile actually) should change her name to scrooge or something. Of course if Blockbuster made any sense they would have actually gotten rental copies of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer in. They have plush toys and popcorn tins and such that they sent us to sell to people... but we don't have the movie for rental, go figure.
And so we pull Dec. 23rd to a close and I prepare for work meetings and decorating :D. Hurray!

Day the first aka December 23rd
So this is my first step into a bigger world, really it is. I've reflected back on the entirity of 2008 and found the whole year to be a vast and distinct dissapointment. I can count the things I've done on one hand. listed by time spent:
1) Play World of warcraft
2) Sleep
3) get into debt
4)work
And that sums up the vast majority of my life over the last year.
Over the last 3 days or so I've been in imense pain from trying to cleanse my body of the many toxins I've subjected it to. So great was the pain in fact that I couldn't even bring myself to focus on World of Warcraft, which as you can see has become kind of my Boyfriend or bad business partner or second home or whatever you want to call it.
Anyhow, as I laid in bed and the time slowly passed, I realised just how much time there really is in a day, how much time I've wasted in front of a flickering screen when I could have been doing almost anything else. I felt somewhat liberated. on the 3rd day when I was finally feeling better I played WoW. It felt empty and allthough I began to get back into my groove, I felt a pressure in my head and a weight creep back into my soul.
Earlier today I played some more WoW and felt similar things. I finished playing for the night and laid in bed. contemplating life and what I've really wanted to do with it. As I mulled this over I realised that being a slave to a video game was never one of my life goals, and yet somehow that's exactly what had happened.
So here I am at the cusp of 2009, I find myself out of shape, in debt and without a life. I've neglected friends and family and the world as a whole so that I could carve out a second life in a world where no one will remember me a week from when I stop playing, or if they do it'll be something like "I wonder what happened to Mordax, Lets go do a heroic instance!!"
So, pulling this all together, I have a goal, a plan even, for a happier much more productive and eternally better 2009. To put it into simple bullet points it goes something like this:
1)Get in shape
2)Find a Social group & a Fitness group
3) Find a "good" job (aka one that fits me and that pays well, none of this data entry crap)
Today I've put into motion the turning of the first few cogs in my plan. This first thing will make anyone that knows me gasp and/or possibly pass out...
I CANCELED MY WORLD OF WARCRAFT ACCOUNT!!!
It's true, right before I made this blog I canceled my account. It's paid up until the 10th of January, but other than wrapping a few things up with some friends I've made there I won't be playing it anymore. It's consumed far too much of my time, life, soul, energy, etc.
In fact I'm planning on giving up on gaming as a whole. It may take me awhile to readjust and I'm sure I'll go through withdrawl, but I'll be better for it.
Continuing on with step one though. I'm going to be following a diet of raw foods that is pretty much Veagan. I know it sounds drastic but I'd started it with Sheri and felt amazing (until I did the whole liver cleanse thing). Looking on the internet I've found some very very amazing results from other people that have switched to raw foods, I'm actually rather excited for this.
The next part is one that might make a few people question my sanity (if you allready haven't at this point) considering the area that we live in. But I've decided I'm going to sell my car. Since I've gotten it I've felt obligated to drive it so that I could justify paying as much as I do to own it. as a result I've fallen into the All-american trap of, Wake-up, get in car, drive to work, sit down. And then do it all in reverse. Of course this will limit my mobility and will mean either I'll have to find work close to home or else a home close to work or something along those lines.
Now part two of my whole new years/new life thingy that I'm doing. I have part of that figured out. I'm going to join the SLC Men's Choir. I think it'll make a great social group, it helps that it's mostly a gay men's choir, so there's a chance I might be able to find some people to date ^^. But just making new friends and expanding my life is the main goal, that would just be a nice added bonus.
Fitness group, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do there. I'm not really sports, who knows maybe I could learn to like a sport, but I don't see it happeneing really. Stranger things have happened I suppose.
And of course, we come to number 3, the big mystery. I hate job hunting, I really truly do. You'd think I'd have gotten used to it considering that I switch jobs about every other year. I just haven't found the place that I feel like I belong at. Obviously that's not very important to alot of the people out there. I understand a job is a job, but I'd like to think that there is a job that I'll wake up and think "OMG! I get to go to work!", instead of "UG, I wish I didn't have to go to work today." I have confidence that it's out there and that I'll find it some day. But for now I need something so that I can become independant. Right now I'm very much a leech and that doesn't sit well with me at all.
So those are my plans for a brighter future. I think sheding my dependancy on gaming will be one of the biggest and most important steps I'll be making. That and switching to a healthy diet. I have every confidence that the rest will fall into place as well. I plan to write in this at the end of each day. Then I can look back this time next year and see what exactly I've done and where I mistepped.
Anyhow, Merry christmas me and whoever else reads this, and here's to a bright and shiny 2009!!
